NS4 & hochgestellte Zeichen

hallo,

nerve schon wieder...
ich will eine zahl hochstellen, doch der ns4 will das mal wieder nicht:

so hab ichs gemacht:

.qubikmeter {
 font-family : arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
 font-size : 9px;
 color : #000000;
 line-height : normal;
 vertical-align: top;
}

nur ns4 versteht anscheinend nicht vertical-align: top;

kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?
und kann man nicht ns4 verbieten?!?
