Modul für bildbearbeitung - einige formate in jpg

hallo,

kann man mit dem modul GD diese formate "JPEG BMP GIF TIFF PNG" einfach in das JPG-Format umwandeln?

ich hab zwar schon im cpan in der documentation von GD geschaut aber da war das gif, bmp und tiff format nicht dabei.

Was verstehst du an der Dokumentation nicht?:

"Alternatively, you may create a GD::Image object based on an existing image by providing an open filehandle, a filename, or the image data itself. The image formats automatically recognized and accepted are: PNG, JPEG, XPM and GD2. Other formats, including WBMP, and GD version 1, cannot be recognized automatically at this time."

Btw, JPEG und JPG ist das gleiche.

da steht zwar das png jpg automatisch erkannt und akzeptiert werden, aber es steht nicht drin ob gif tiff und bmp akzeptiert werden.

Ein Blick in die Dokumentation von gdlib wird dir für GIF bestätigen, dass es nicht unterstützt wird: http://www.boutell.com/gd/manual2.0.26.html. BMP sollte IMHO unterstützt werden (heißt in diesem Kontext allerdings WBMP). TIFF ist gar nicht erwähnt, wird also wie GIF nicht unterstützt.

man das konnte mir doch gleich jemand sagen dass man mit dem Image::Magick diese formate bearbeiten kann, is ja viel besser. sch*** GD-Modul :)
