Was du da siehst ist Speedstep-Technologie bei der Arbeit. Das Laptop deines Freunde steht entweder auf CPU-Geschwindigkeit Automatisch, Niedrig oder sogar sehr niedrig (siehe Energieverwaltung). Ich persönlich empfehle Auto auch im Netzbetrieb, die Leistung ist trotzdem bei Bedarf unmittelbar verfügbar, allerdings hält sich die Temperatur im Rahmen, bei Notebooks immer ein kritisches Thema.
