Background bei "Übergrösse" repetieren

Moin!
Ich poste mal mein Problem:

Klickt mal auf Bilder oder so...

Der hintergrund wird nicht weiter repetiert, im FireFox, wenn es höher ist als die min-height Angabe.

Wie kann man das machen?

In der Mitte ist es ein Container und darin sind 3 gefloatete Container.
Habe Links und Rechts versucht height:auto; hinzufügen, doch es verlängert es nicht.

Im IE ist es glaub OK, bin aber nicht sicher -.-
