klar, wenn Du mir sagst, warum Du einen Link verwendest, obwohl Du ganz offensichtlich keine Ressource verlinken möchtest.
(For the record: Man kann bzgl. des Einsatzes von Links in solchen Faellen auch anderer Meinung sein ...)

Da "return false" keinerlei mir bekannte sortierende Funktionalitaet enthaelt, liegt die Vermutung nahe, dass du uns wesentliche Bestandteile deines Codes vorenthalten hast ...
(Wenn in vorher ausgefuehrtem JavaScript-Code ein Fehler auftritt, kommt es natuerlich nicht mehr zur Rueckgabe von false, und damit wird das urspruengliche Linkziel verfolgt.)
