Prima. Dann müsste das einfügen in ein Array a doch so gehen, oder?
a = [{(new Image()).src='bild1.jpg'}, {(new Image()).src='bild2.jpg'}, ...]
Nein.
Zumal die geschweiften Klammern dort syntaktisch falsch sind.
