ok ive tested it now on a other testserver and the following code realy working

RewriteEngine on  
RewriteRule ^gs/g-stream/(.*) $1 [L,QSA]

on the original i get an premission error.

it must be a serverkonfiguration problem,but what exectly one you are thinking?
