Hi,
Umbruch an Leerstellen kann man ja verhindern, indem man " " angibt.
Was kann ich aber machen, dass z.B. Deutsch-Argentinier nicht nach dem - umgebrochen wird?

Ob das die gängigen Browser unstützen - ausprobieren.
Sonst den Deutsch-Argentinier in ein Element einwickeln, und mit der white-space-Eigenschaft entsprechend formatieren.
