animation-fill-mode: forwards;hinzufügen
?? Was soll das bei einer Transition bewirken?
und das mit der Tastatur sein lassen, aber das ist denk ich Geschmackssache.
Bedienbarkeit ist keine Geschmackssache.
Aber das ist ja nicht das, was ich erreichen möchte.
Da dein Fiddle kaputt ist, ist nicht ganz klar, was du erreichen möchtest.
