Zu Deinem Problem:

Könnten wir die Hosts-Datei mal sehen? Heißt die auch Hosts (also nicht hosts.txt o.ä.)? Hast Du Dir schon mal hosts.sam (sam steht für sample) angesehen (Da sind beispiele drinnen)?

P.S.: hast Du Dir schon mal überlegt, einen internen DNS-Server anzulegen (auf der Linux-Kiste), der auch die Weiterleitung ins Internet macht? Dann ist die Konfiguration der Namen nämlich größtenteils zentral.

Hmm.....ich bin nicht wirklich fit, was den BIND angeht, aber das ist auf jeden Fall eine Überlegung!!
