digitales Zertifikat verlinken
Hallo,
in einer HTML-Seite ist mit <a href="zertifikat.cer"> ein digitales Zertifikat verlinkt. Und mein Problem ist, dass dieses Zertifikat im Internet Explorer nicht als Zertifikat erkannt wird, sobald man den Verweis nicht lokal über file://, sondern über http://localhost:8020/zertifikat.cer abruft. Egal, ob ich nun der Datei die Endung .cer odr .crt verpasse. Im Firefox wird der Zertifikat richtig als solches erkannt.
In Übersicht von MIME-Typen gibt es den Typ .cer nicht.

ob's deinem Problem hilft weiß ich nicht, aber ansonsten mal in einer anderen Mime-Type-Liste nachschauen.

In Übersicht von MIME-Typen gibt es den Typ .cer nicht.
Weil da eben nicht alle exotischen und aktuellen Typen drinstehen.
Andere Webseiten, die sich um SSL-Zertifikate kümmern, schreiben beispielsweise dies:
"IE expects to get its certificate in DER format, with a mime type of application/x-x509-ca-cert - newer versions may also accept PEM.
Netscape expects to get its certificate in PEM format, also with a mime type of application/x-x509-ca-cert - newer versions may also accept DER.
Opera should happilly accept either PEM or DER, just as long as it comes with a mime type of application/x-x509-ca-cert"Mit anderen Worten: Dein Zertifikat hat möglicherweise das falsche Format für den IE, und anscheinend den falschen Mime-Typ.

tja, mit application/x-x509-ca-cert als MIME-Typ hat sich leider nichts geändert ;-(
