Wieso soll es möglich sein, dass etwas Sinn »ergibt«, aber »Sinn machen« soll unmöglich sein? Wo ist da der Unterschied?
Sinn „machen“ wäre aktiv, „ergeben“ dagegen passiv. Doch wer oder was nimmt sich beispielsweise vor, heute einfach mal ein wenig Sinn zu machen? Der gestrige ist ja anscheinend aufgebraucht.
