Windows XP - Verwirrung: SB, OEM, DSP?

Hallo,

Microsoft selbst kennt weder "SB"- noch "DSP"-Lizenzen, sondern bietet Windows nur via OEM oder als Volllizenz aus diversen Lizenzmodellen an. Siehe: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/howtobuy/default.mspx. Für Privatkunden wird ausdrücklich OEM _beim_ Kauf eines neuen PCs empfohlen. Für den professionellen Gebrauch oder für Staatliche bzw. gemmeinnützige Einrichtungen gibt es weitere Lizenzmodelle http://www.microsoft.com/resources/sam/what_basics_licensingwhat.mspx.

Windows Desktop operating systems preinstalled on a PC cannot be transferred or reassigned to another machine. The license is always tied to the original PC on which it was installed, even if the PC is no longer in use.

• Software Media, Manuals, and Certificate of Authenticity

The software media, manuals, and Certificate of Authenticity may only be transferred to another end user if the PC on which it was installed is also transferred. If you acquired your Windows Desktop operating system as a full-packaged product through retail or your reseller, then you have the right to uninstall from one PC and reinstall to your new PC.

Nun haben deutsche Gerichte häufig anders entschieden. Die Frage ist aber, wenn man ein solches OEM-Produkt kauft, bekommt man es dann auch aktiviert? Hierzu: http://www.microsoft.com/germany/piraterie/produktaktivierung.mspx

Wenn ich ein oder mehrere Windows-Systeme bräuchte, würde ich kein Geld für OEM-Produkte ohne zugehörende Hardware ausgeben.

Bräuchte ich es privat, würde ich einen neuen PC mit Windows kaufen und diesen dann nach meinen Ansprüchen hardwaretechnisch aufrüsten.
