TransformerFactory, UTF-8 uns Script-Tags

Hallo Forum,

ich möchte gerne die Transformation von XML und XSL-T auf UTF-8 umstellen.

setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.ENCODING, "UTF-8")
setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.METHOD, "html")

zeigt keine Wirkung...

erst
setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.METHOD, "text") bewirkt eine Ausgabe in UTF-8.

Allerdings werden dan die Script-Tags geschlossen <script ... /> :-(

setOutputProperty("{http://example.com}selfclosing", "no") hilft leider auch nicht weiter.

Weiß jemand Rat? Danke!
