The Linux Vendor Firmware Service is a secure portal which allows hardware vendors to upload firmware updates. This site is used by all major Linux distributions to provide metadata for clients such as fwupdmgr and GNOME Software. There is no charge to vendors for the hosting or distribution of content.

Warum Du cdn.fwupd.org nicht erreicht hast? Der Name konnte nicht aufgelöst werden. Kein Netz? Oder es gab doch irgendwo einen Huster wegen des DNS-Schlüsseltausches.

Lösche dann "Softwareinstallation" aus dem Menü und nimm künftig synaptic. Fertig. Allerdings ist es keine gute Idee, die LiveCD produktiv zu verwenden. Die dient zum Vorführen und um die Kompatibilität der Hardware zu testen.
